Admission process

  • To apply for the master’s degree, the candidate must have a relevant bachelor’s degree, which is equivalent to an Australian Bachelor’s (ordinary) Degree. However, for some courses, the qualification required should be equivalent to the Australian Bachelor (Honours) Degree. Most universities in Australia will require you to provide a solid first degree from a well-known institution. 

Academic requirements

While applying for an Australian University, you will be required to share educational information, including grades and subjects. An official transcript from the university you last attended after high school will provide a detailed idea of the course you studied and credits you earned, along with additional information like diplomas, correspondence courses, etc.

Intakes

In Australia, there are two intakes for international students which are February Intake and July Intake. February intake is considered to be the main Intake and will have the most number of courses opened.

The July intake will have a limited number of courses. There are other intakes like September and November in Australia, too, with even fewer courses.

Tests

International students are typically required to take an English language proficiency test, such as the IELTS, TOEFL or PTE. Some courses may also require additional aptitude tests, such as the GMAT or GRE.

Visa process and requirements

To study in Australia as an International student, you will require to apply for a student (subclass 500) visa. This visa lets you reside in the country for the duration of your study program. When should I apply for the course to study abroad?
